The precious DIY slide
Hurray to Papa for making such a fun toy! Mama firmly believes Louis will find it so precious to own a hand-make toy from Papa.

Noah's Ark - Story telling
Louis' favorite story "Elephant keeps safe" comes from a bible story "Noah's Ark". He enjoyed Papa's telling the story so much and got especially amused by the page with all the animals lining up to get into the Ark.
Buddies from overseas
Uncle Jonathan & Auntie Margaret, Uncle Kent & Auntie Janice are good friends of Papa and Mama, from the good old days living in Shanghai. We were all kids-free then and enjoyed lots of good moments together, with wine, food, dancing, karaoke, etc.
Today we were delighted to host a reunion in our place, having our kids joining us! By seeing the pictures, one can surely know how active and happy the kids were! (And how tiring the parents were ...)
Louis was very kind to give big hugs and kisses to our guests. He was also eager to show off his sofa-climbing skills.
Constant seemed to be a car lover. He was kind to pushing Hannah around, giving her free ride.
Big sister Hannah was so kind to feed Constant with food and Louis with water. What a caring big sister!
"I had a good play time with you both!
Hannah, hope that I can see you again in Shanghai,
Constant, I look forward to visiting you in Japan!" -- Louis

19 months old today
Louis got his first set of kids' table and chairs today - as his 19-month-old present! Quite excited, Louis sat down on the chair and played with his toys and books on the table, looking much like a school boy! Papa & Mama feel happy to see Louis growing up.
However, since last month, Louis put up a difficult task for Papa and Mama. Louis used to be an excellent eater but recently it became very difficult feeding him. He probably is showing us his "independence". Authoritative parenting doesn't work on Louis, as Louis is a stubborn boy. Instead, by adopting the 'take-it-easy' approach, Mama is finding a way to get Louis eating again! Mama, you are the best!!

Happy schooling
Louis,
You have indeed grown up a lot after the summer holiday. Papa and Mama thought you would need some time to get used to playgroup and Sunday school life after the extended summer holiday. We are thankful that your new playgroup teacher is very good and lively in teaching. Also, your Sunday school teachers are so impressed that you no longer cry during the 1-hour class, even without Papa & Mama's presence! We are so proud of you!
As promised, Mama made you home-made snacks which fit your bite. Here you go the mini-muffins as your playgroup snack. Mama is happy to see that you enjoy them very much.
Happy Schooling, Louis! Hope you'll enjoy learning and friendship in schools!
Love,
Papa & Mama

"Car"
Home cooking
Big thanks to blogger lululu again. Mama tried the baked potato recipe and it turned out great! Papa enjoyed the dinner (pork chop, baked potato & veggie) very much, especially after a tiring business trip.
Louis shared a bit too, of course, and he loved it. A toddler-version of baked potato with his favorite corn and cheese can potentially be his favorite meal menu. Stay turned, Louis!
