The other day Papa and Mama took Kristen to hiking at the Peak. It was a beautiful morning to give our undivided attention to our little angel.

By seeing Kristen to learn new words it reminded us how Louis was doing back then at similar age. The sweet old memories flashed back (though it actually happened not too long ago) by revisiting the video. He was once a young little toddler and Papa and Mama were amazed by the growth and development of Louis since then.

On a separated note, we did remember correctly that Louis was once a fruit lover. What has happened to stop you from liking it now, Louis?? Hope your memory will flash back as we do and could remind you that fruit is enjoyable. ;-)

Words learning

People always that girls start to speak earlier and it seems to be true in Kristen. By her 1.5 years old she knows quite a bundle of words already and even put them in use in daily communication. Well done, Kristen!

Enjoying fruit

Some kids are just natural food lovers, and some are not. Louis is the later. Mama had hard time feeding Louis when he was smaller. He has good improvement since then, but still quite conservative in food. In comparison, Kristen has been more open-minded. She likes to use toothpick to feed herself with fruits. Mama hopes that Kristen (and Louis too!) can enjoy all kinds of good foods created by our God!

Kristen @ Playgroup

It seems not long ago that Mama accompanied Louis to his playgroup since his one year old. Now it is Kristen's turn. She seemed to enjoy the school life a lot and got along with teachers and school friends very well. Music class is her favorite.

Last day at sunday school infant class

Kristen's first promotion in Sunday school, from infant to toddler class! Not only more spacious play area and more toys, we hope Kristen will like the biblical teaching through songs and stories.

Finally, back to bottle

Kristen weaned from breastfeeding to bottle feeding EVENTUALLY. Unlike Louis who was easy-going with either breastfeed or bottle feed, Kristen has been sticking with Mama for breastfeeding since birth. Though Mama enjoyed the precious bonding time with Kristen, it also has been exhausting. Mama said it is the best present from Kristen for her birthday. :-)

Give me a cup

Mama has mostly been breastfeeding Kristen since she was born, sometimes with bottles. However, it gave Mama a big headache since Kristen's six months old. All of a sudden, she decided not to take bottles anymore. A lot of attempts have been tried but failed. Recently Mama introduced a cup with straw and she seemed fine drinking a bit with. Seeing her lovely smile while drinking milk with cup, Mama is happy.

A place to chill out

Kristen likes to chill out in the corridor. Guess she feels fascinated that how this little path can lead her to different places in the house.

Cooking Mama

Kristen inherits the right genes from her Cooking Mama! She seems to have a passion for cooking.

Louis' positive influence to Kristen

Since Louis was several months old, he developed a strong liking to reading books. However, Kristen didn't have such inborn talent. Fortunately, she slowly got positively influenced by his Gor Gor Louis, Kristen is starting to read more and more!

The camera girl

Kristen is an expressive little girl and was relatively responsive to mama's call for photo taking. There are many times that mama just can't keep the camera off from her. Isn't she cute?!

Placing objects into a box becomes one of Kristen's favorite game. Her coordination skill is good!
