Chasing the "beauty"

It doesn't sound very hygentic but kristen is very much attracted by Porpor's toe which always has nail polish on. Probably it is the girly nature in Kristen, longing for beauty.

Flying Kristen

We almost forgot how this flying game could be a fun game to almost all babies. Many people said that parents are less attentive to the 2nd child apart from providing the basic needs. We do agree to a certain extent. Sorry Kristen, Papa & Mama will try to make it up for you in future!!

I found my feet

It did sound a bit annoying, but Kristen seemed to have fun playing with her toes. However, when you think of this as a proof that she has realized the existence of her feet and toes, we really should give her a big compliment!

Field trip on Transportations

In an effort to make some fun out of the repetitive routine, Mama decided to make the daily outdoor activity a thematic one, in line with the recent class theme at school - Transportation.

Mama took Louis out for a field trip, taking mini-bus, ferry, MTR subway, and watching taxi and bus. Mama was impressed that Louis has already mastered the concept of up and down (escalator), open and close (gate and door), go and stop (traffic light) very well. Learning through play is so much fun!

Sunglasses

Who is this celebrity? ;-)
It was supposed to be Mama's new sunglasses as Mama is frequently having outdoor activities with Louis under the sun. But Louis insisted on borrowing it, saying that he looked even cooler wearing it than Mama ... he may be right ...

Playdate for Kristen

Mama brought Kristen to a Mommy Group. Kristen met lots of kids and showed high interest in her surroundings.

Louis is 27 months old

Louis is 27 months old! Papa and Mama have experienced the most joyful (and, at the same time, most exhausted) 27 months in their lives! We pray that Louis will continue to grow healthily in all aspects, particularly his kind and God-loving heart.

Apple Fan Family

It was back in early 2008 after Mama delivered Louis, Papa gave Mama a a small present of a MacBook. Mama became a Mac fan.


After Kristen was born, in order to bring more convenience for Mama to communicate to the outside world :), Papa got Mama an iPhone 3Gs. Mama felt very much connected to her friends, and felt even happier as an Apple fan.

What's more: Louis loves the iPhone.

Uncle Ip

To facilitate more verbal communication practice, Papa & Mama sometimes like to go against Louis' wish. This time, Louis wanted to watch Barney, and instead, "Uncle Ip" DVD was shown to him. Any one in Louis' shoe would have fought back, I believe ...

Big boy Louis, ready for hot pot

Papa & Mama took up the challenge to take Louis to try a "hot pot" setting restaurant (sukiyaki). Louis indeed has become a big boy. He pretty much sat still the whole time!

Kristen is 5 months old

Kristen is 5 months old! She is a big girl now, literally! Louis and Kristen were both fed by the same milk (Mama milk), but Louis is a small-sized boy, while Kristen is a big-sized girl. Mama no longer needs to feel guilty about whether she under-fed Louis or if there was something wrong with her milk that made Louis so skinny ... Again, "all babies are different" ...

Happy Mama's Day

"Happy Mama's Day!" said Louis, followed by giving Mama his handmade flowers (made during class, painted by his fingers, under the guidance of teacher Ms Arleen). Though Louis looked very calm (as usual), Mama was truly excited and touched by his words.

Baby models celebrating Mother's Day

An early Happy Mother's Day! Louis and Kristen, acting as baby models, showed up in the event venue, to celebrate Mother's Day ahead of time with their dear Mama!!
Louis is amazed by seeing his and Mui Mui's big head photos in the stage backdrop and posters around the shopping mall.

Papa & Mama usually took either Louis or Kristen out, one kid at a time, so that they can both focus on the kid, and also take turns to rest. But for the exciting visit to the new K11 and i-Square malls, Papa & Mama took both kids out. The trip worked out just fine, all had a great time.

Watery Kristen

Mama can confirm the statement "all babies are different", just by looking at the difference between Louis and Kristen. For example, Louis never had the problem of his saliva dripping everywhere, but Kristen obviously has a very watery mouth ...
