holding hands
It is so sweet to see you both walking hand in hand together, though with slightly different pace. With more practice, you two will surely improve and be able to support each other!

Finally, back to bottle
Kristen weaned from breastfeeding to bottle feeding EVENTUALLY. Unlike Louis who was easy-going with either breastfeed or bottle feed, Kristen has been sticking with Mama for breastfeeding since birth. Though Mama enjoyed the precious bonding time with Kristen, it also has been exhausting. Mama said it is the best present from Kristen for her birthday. :-)

New school
Louis,
You started your new school since December and Papa and Mama are grateful that you enjoyed it so far. It indeed worried mama at the beginning as the environment and the Montessori teaching approach are so much different from the traditional school that both you and we were familiar with. Though without fancy decoration nor colorful settings., we hope this unique setting can help train up your concentration and independence.
Love,
Papa and Mama

CD machine
This is probably the first electric appliance of Louis in his life. Though Louis loves to watch DVD a lot, Papa and Mama decided to bring him back to the CD era for Louis' own good (as watching too much TV is no good). We are glad that Louis like the idea and enjoyed playing and switching disc with his new CD machine.

Role switching
Playdate with Harris
Kristen is a relatively outgoing girl who likes to interact with people. Today we had Uncle William, Auntie Cathy, and BB Harris family visiting us. Once again, she performed her role well as the ambassador of our family. On the contrary, Louis was relatively quiet and observed most of the time. We gave him an applause though for his generosity of sharing all of his toys.
Give me a cup
Mama has mostly been breastfeeding Kristen since she was born, sometimes with bottles. However, it gave Mama a big headache since Kristen's six months old. All of a sudden, she decided not to take bottles anymore. A lot of attempts have been tried but failed. Recently Mama introduced a cup with straw and she seemed fine drinking a bit with. Seeing her lovely smile while drinking milk with cup, Mama is happy.

Jingle bell song in practice
Christmas is round the corner and Louis has been very keen to practise the "jingle bell" christmas song.
PorPor's birthday
December is a big birthday month in our family. It got kickstarted by Porpor's birthday on Dec 7th, and followed by Kristen mui mui on 11th, and then Mama and Auntie Pauline's birthday on 12th. Louis is a loving boy. He shared the joy of celebration and most of all, the candle blowing. This evening, he sang and blew the birthday candle for Porpor 7 times in a row!

Clean Up
Louis' and Kristen's toys are all placed on an open shelves cabinet so that they can always check out their toys easily and freely. Yet, freedom must come with responsibility. It is definitely not an easy task for toddlers, but we are glad that Louis is practising the rule. We do hope that through these practices, not only can he learn his organization skills, but also growing up as an independent and responsible person. Work hard, Louis!
