Year 2008 has been a wonderful and memorable year as Louis joined our family. This little angel has brought us lots of fun and joy (and housework!) and we look forward to the coming of Year 2009 to witness the continual growth of baby Louis.

Good-Bye 2008
Papa & Mama tried to keep Louis awake to count down to 2009 together. What's better than hanging out in the downstairs mall crowded with people to keep Louis awake?! Louis finally fell asleep at 11-ish, leaving Papa & Mama to enjoy the midnight fireworks by themselves.

Best present to Papa
After 2 weeks of first saying "Mama", Louis finally called out "Ba Ba" on Boxing Day. It's surely the best present to Papa!
Fresh air
Louis has been suffering from running nose the last couple days and missed the Christmas/New Year Eve party organized by Papa/Mama's friends. Instead Papa took us to the park to get some fresh air which is good for Louis' health.

Drop & Watch
Mama is giving Louis special permission to drop things at will at this stage; when Louis gets a bit older, he will be responsible to pick things up and clean up his own mess.
Tunnel time
Louis enjoys crawling through small spaces. Either the tunnel in the playground or the dinning chair at home can fascinate him.

Boxing day
Louis received a full stroller of Christmas gifts from many people. He's rather happy.
Mama received a Christmas gift from Papa, and said it's the perfect gift! With this wonderful Octopus watch, she can travel with Louis hassle-free without groping her purse.

"Silent night" before Christmas
Our little angel Louis got his first fever on the day he turned to 10 months old (23 Dec). Louis spent his first Christmas eve resting at home and thanks God that the sickness was quickly healed.

Carrier
Papa and Mama like to use carrier to hold Louis. It feels very intimate and close to Louis, and also allows Papa and Mama to "feel" what attracts and excites Louis.

Happy crawling
Papa and Mama think it's necessary to put on record how fast Louis can crawl, as he will sooner or later stop crawling and just walk. Baby grows so fast, and we should capture all special moments in different stages as much as possible!

Amazing 9 months
Today is Louis' 9 months old! Our angel can now hold to stand by himself!
The past 9 months have been truly an amazing experience for Papa and Mama; though tiring, but full of joy. Witnessing the growth of Louis in past 9 months has been a true privilege and blessing from our God.
