Soft and gentle

After going through the "screaming" phase, Louis has recently learned how to talk softly. It's much like he's composing a new song.
At such soft and gentle voice, Louis can pretty much get Papa and Mama to give him whatever he asks for ...

6 months old

Our angel turned 6 months old today (8/23)!

In the House of the Lord

Louis started going to church every Sunday! On his first church visit on Aug 10, Papa showed him around the Sunday school classrooms and the wall decorations (which Louis was quite determined to grab and pull down!). Louis was happy to meet various uncles and aunties too.

Natural teether

Papa and Mama have bought different kinds of plastic/cloth-made teethers before but Louis doesn't seem to like them much. Until lately we found one in the kitchen, which is 100% natural.

3-in-1

We didn't realize how rare the three of us took picture together until we took one yesterday. We should definitely do it more often.

"Can I have a spoon please?"

Popo discovered that Louis likes to use the spoon since he was 2 months old. Whenever having hiccups or being thirsty, Louis would practise his "spoon skill ". Pretty much mastering the skill by now, Louis is getting ready for his first taste of solid food in a week, on his 6-month-old day.

The "killer app" for Papa and Mama when Louis gets fuzzy.

The Runaway Louis

Papa & Mama are watching Prison Break III on TV, sometimes with Louis. Knowing that Mama is a big fan of Michael Scotfield, Louis tries to imitate Michael on his plan to run away - from his changing mat.

When Louis meets Louis

Baby Louis met Pr Louis again, for the 2nd time. Baby Louis was so comfortable with Pr Louis (due to their "name" connection?!) that he slept peacefully in his arms.
Papa & Mama thank Pr Louis & C-Mo very much for their love and teaching in Christ. We hope baby Louis can grow up to become a warrior* of God.



* "Louis" is the French form of "Ludwig" and means "famous warrior"

Louis the Lifeguard

Mama suspected that Louis inherited the "serious learning" attitude from Papa. Louis was so focused to follow the lead of Papa in the pool, that Mama could hardly find any smiles during photo shoots. No wonder Louis can master the technique so well and so quickly.

Papa & Mama rewarded Louis' great learning attitude by naming him the "Baby Lifeguard in the neighborhood"!

Swimming (Part 2)

Louis can handle big swimming pool equally well as the small bath tub at home.
Papa and Mama are thankful that Louis seems feeling secured in their hands, no matter where the new environment is.
