New Un-goo-goo

Papa & Mama still remember saying Un-goo-goo to Louis when he was a baby. Now, Louis is saying the same thing to Mui Mui Kristen! Papa & Mama are so glad that Louis is a good big brother, taking good care of Kristen.

Kristen's new chair

Kristen got a new chair. She seems to love it, and so does Louis (who likes to shake it).

Line up

"Line up. Line up. ..." is a song that Louis learned from school. It's a nice rule to teach the kids, whether it's inside classroom or outside at the playground. Louis is applying the rule to his cars and trains at home too.

Disney with MarMar

Louis is always excited by the thought of going to Disney. But when he's actually there, he seems very cool and calm. Probably scared by the loud noise or the crowd?! anyway, he enjoyed bringing MarMar (grandma) for her very first visit to HK Disneyland!

Kristen's hair treatment

Por Por knows many tricks about taking care of babies. This traditional way of hair treatment quite impressed Papa and Mama: apply fresh aloe vera on hair, stay for 15 mins and then wash. It is believed that it will make the hair softer and healthier.

Halfway Turn

Kristen is very eager to explore this world, it seems. She is trying hard to flip to see from a different view. She's half way there ... Keep it up, Kristen! Papa, Mama & GorGor Louis are all cheering for you!

Bird & Flower markets

Por Por, Papa & Mama brought Louis to Bird Market and Flower Market today. Probably inherited from Por Por, Louis likes flowers. Louis is also fascinated by the miniature mountain & waterfall.

Mastering the DVD machine

Louis is probably tired of asking Papa & Mama to play his favorite DVDs for him, especially Papa & Mama always asked him to do this and that (e.g. "Eat dinner first, then DVD", "Clean up your toys first, before DVD"). DVD machine is just another toy that Louis quickly masters ...

8-year Wedding Anniversary

Time flies. Papa & Mama have been happily married for 8 years! Congratulations!!

Kristen 1st time to church

Today is Kristen's first time to church! She enjoyed Sunday school (though her teacher said she needed to be held all the time).

Heads up, Kristen!

Although Kristen (as a 2nd child in the family) can't get 100% of Papa & Mama's time and attention, Papa & Mama are glad that Kristen is training up herself well. It really amused Papa & Mama the other day when Kristen could already raise her head quite high!

Kristen's 3 months old

Dear Kristen,

Happy 3 months old!! Papa, Mama and Louis Gor Gor had a great time with you since your arrival. We have had so much joy, watching you grow, getting more responsive and interactive with us day after day. Papa told Mama so many times that you are the most adorable baby girl in the world (while Louis Gor Gor is the most adorable baby boy ... Papa is always very smooth and politically correct ...).

In 3 months' time, you can already raise your head, see and catch interesting objects in front of and reachable to you. We are so proud of you, Kristen, especially as you learned all these with minimum training from Papa & Mama!! You are also a very happy girl, smiling a lot. Whenever you cried, your Louis Gor Gor would rush to you, giving you hugs and kisses. (Though sometimes, he might have hugged you too tightly and made you cry ... ) We are so glad that there are so much love around you.

We hope that you can sleep through the night very soon. You have already improved significantly, from waking up every 1-2 hours, to 3-4 hours now. Louis Gor Gor had his first sleep-through (midnight to 7am) on his 7-month day. Hope you can get there sooner!

New dining rule

Louis used to be allowed to watch DVD while eating his meals. But Mama wanted to change such bad habit, thus enforced new rule: "No TV. No toys" during meal time.

It was quite a tough challenge to all, but good that Papa and Mama stood very firm. After a few days of struggle, Louis is now eating his meals quietly, together with Papa & Mama. When he's full, he will say "FULL", also meaning "I want to get out of my chair!", leaving major clean-up work afterward ... Anyway, Papa & Mama enjoy having family meal together, yet another family bonding time!
